I'm Self Reliant

So I finished reading On Self Reliance but as I was reading it I didn't quite understand what he meant or what was his purpose writing this. To be honest I kind of spaced out while reading On Self Reliance.

Letter to A Mentor Draft1

Dear (counselor, teachers, parents etc.),

First of all good morning/ good afternoon. I have a big question that I need you to help me answer.  My question is why is it hard to say your wrong but easy to say your right? My reason for this question is because I over heard my friend arguing about a homework problem and she said she was doing it right but the other girl said she was doing it wrong. So I walked over to where they were working on the homework and went over it and found out she was doing it wrong. I told her that she was wrong but she just kept saying that she was right. So I didn't know what else to say to her?. So this is why I need your help to answer this question. Thank you

Sincerely,
Beatrice Jimenez

For my big question I would go to my counselor or teachers. It's very hard to say your wrong on something but easy to say you right. I think that teachers or maybe anyone else might know the answer to my question. It's probably hard to say your wrong because you might be scare be embarrassed for saying something wrong. 😕🙄

Mistakes For President

I wasn't expecting the debate to be like two little kids fighting. I hated how Trump was interrupting while it was Clinton's turn to talk. What I disliked was that Trump and Clinton were not focusing on the questions they had answer. They kept saying some false things about each other. At the end Trump said if he didn't win the debate it was because of his mic.

Inciting Incident

My first impression of The Pedestrian was that it was a scary and unique story because who would of that you can get arrested for walking outside to get air. This story had me thinking of how the future will look. I wonder if in the future they will arrest you for not having technology or not having a partner or a fancy place to live.

Respect My Authority

Authority figures support me to be my best self by them telling me if I want to do something to never give up and to pay attention to what I'm doing wrong and right. Authority figure just want what's best for my future and to make me know that I'm responsible for the choices I make.

My Aeries

My Grade on the test was a -C because I didn't put syntax and diction. I'm so glad I didn't get a D or a F.  I agree with the grade I recived because I agree I didn't put as much because I worked on it all late and I forgot to use my notes. What I think o earned for the first grading period is a C or less I'm pretty sure I didn't get something higher than that because i haven't done as much on my blog. I have so many missing assignments for almost every class I have. I try to get my shit together and work on all my missing assignments but when I look at how much I have to do I just get to lazy or I feel like I don't care but deep down I know I'm doing terrible in the beginning of school.

Young Goodman Brown

Young Goodman brown was a very interesting story. Goodman brown was a gentleman that went looking for his wife and he kept encountering people on the way. The people that he encountered were nice to him. I was surprised that he kept thinking the devil would come for him. I think Goodman brown was seeing thing that weren't really there.

The Earth On the Turtle's Back

To begin this was a beautiful story. I would have never thought that the ancient chief's wife would fall into the hole. I was surprised that the animals on the water could talk. When the queen fell I thought she was gonna die, but two swans helped her. I felt like the message in the story was that we should never judge others. This story kind of reminded me of Richard Cory.
